Rebecca Bellingham

 

 

Rebecca is equal parts educator and artist. She leads teachers, schools, and districts in California and NYC in robust, joyful, and engaging literacy curriculum and instruction. She teaches courses at Teachers College on the integration of the arts into literacy instruction and her book The Artful Read Aloud published by Heinemann comes out in October 2019.

John Bickart

 

 

Michelle is an elementary educator and a yoga and meditation teacher and has worked in both public and independent schools since 1992. She developed and implemented an innovative yoga and meditation program at an independent elementary school in Boston, MA and is currently consulting and developing programs with school communities, as well as developing practices for corporate, family and individual clients. She holds a Masters in Elementary Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, Massachusetts and is co-author of the book Attention Development and Training in Children and Adolescents; Practices Inspired by the Elephant Path due out in 2019. Mallika Chopra

 

 

Mallika Chopra is a mom, media entrepreneur, public speaker and published author. Her latest books, Just Breathe: Meditation, Mindfulness, Movement and More and Just Feel: How to Be Stronger, Happier, Healthier, and More, are accessible, fun, how-to books filled with full-color illustrations written for 8-12 year olds. In her earlier book Living With Intent: My Somewhat Messy Journey to Purpose, Peace and Joy, Mallika shares personal stories and insights she gained while seeking balance as a mom and entrepreneur who felt she was overwhelmed by work, family and too many responsibilities. Mallika has taught meditations to thousands of people, and enjoys speaking to audiences around the world about intention, balance and living a life our purpose.

Donna Davis

 

 

Prof. Donna R. Davis, R.ECE., BA. ECE., M.T.S. is Coordinator of the Honours Bachelor of Early Childhood Leadership program, Fanshawe College, London, Ontario, Canada. Donna brings over forty years of experience working in social services, education, child protection, children’s mental health and post-secondary education. Her passion for social justice and her work with immigrant and refugee families, children at risk and those children with special needs led to her Master of Theological Studies in Pastoral Counselling.

Cheryl Dodwell

 

 

Cheryl Dodwell is the co-author of the Peace of Mind Curricula for Grades 1-2, 3-5, 4-5 and 6. She is also the Executive Director of Peace of Mind Inc, a nonprofit organization that supports educators in bringing mindfulness and social and emotional learning into elementary schools through the Peace of Mind Program.
